About the Centre
The Deepings Community Centre was opened in October 2000 after 3 years of work by a group of local people. The acquisition of the Old Health Centre by the SKDC provided the base. The Centre is now well established, a Limited Company by Guarantee and has Charitable Status. The Centre is run entirely by volunteers including the Board of Directors.
If you would like to be a volunteer please contact us or visit us at the centre.
The Centre provides 4 ‘In House’ Clinics, Health and Sports Activities, Clubs and Learning for Fun Groups. Local Community Services and Counselling are also based at the centre.
There is a large well lit car park area with easy access for the disabled.

- Kitchen facilities are also available for light refreshments or catering as required
- A comprehensive Information Centre is situated in the Reception area
Services are available for shredding, laminating, photocopying, and comb binding. In addition there are display boards for hire.
The well appointed garden is also available for rest, relaxation and hiring for summer functions, garden parties, or perhaps ‘Strawberry Teas.’
